Photography
My photography is rooted in people and culture. From artists and campaigns to portraits and documentary work, I create images with a strong sense of place, character, and visual identity.

YD The Illest
On November 6, YD reached out about developing the visual concept and photoshoot for his upcoming album. Two weeks later, I traveled to New Orleans to execute the project.
The direction centered on creating something that felt distinctly YD while grounding the imagery in the culture and visual language of New Orleans - the city he represents. With roughly a week to develop the concept, I drew from New Orleans culture, the contemporary rap landscape, and the visual language of ’90s hip-hop. I wanted the imagery to feel nocturnal, confrontational, and distinctly Southern without simply recreating a specific era.
High contrast, harsh lighting, contemporary styling, and moments of juxtaposition became the foundation of the visual language. The intention was to take qualities associated with ’90s hip-hop imagery and reinterpret them through YD’s world, creating something immediate and recognizable without overcomplicating the idea.
From concept through execution, I led the creative direction, directing YD, shaping the set and lighting, and photographing the project. We shot late into the night at Emline in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The resulting imagery became the visual foundation for the album rollout, creating a cohesive body of work that could extend across the album, promotional materials, and social platforms.
