creative dir. & dir. of photography

i approach creative direction and director of photography as the same instinct expressed through different mediums. both require a deep understanding of people at thier core, shaping a feeling, and translating that into something tangible, cohesive, and culturally relevant.

my work sits at the intersection of vision and intuition - developing ideas, refining identity, and guiding artists towards something that feels honest and elevated.

core of practice: i see, community, connection.

vision and community is at the center of everything i do. what drew me to image-making initially was translating what i see in my head to physical form and the ways it brought people together through the shared energy, collaboration, the trust.

that same foundation naturally led me into creative direction and whether i'm building a visual world, shooting a film or helping shape an artist's trajectory, my focus is on connection - between people, ideas, and the work itself.

approach

i lead with observation and instinct

i pay attention what feels natural: how something move, what it references, what is avoided - and build from there.

direction to me isn't about imposing an idea. it's about refining what is already there and pushing it into clarity.

drawn to.

i am drawn to artists and collaborators with a strong point of view, even if it's still forming

people who are willing to explore, question themselves, and build something intentional.

i'm especially interested in work that feels lived in - not over-polished, but considered.

visual language.

my visual language leans raw, textural and emotionally grounded

i focus on atmosphere and details that make something real rather than constructed

i tend to focus on what resonates, especially through my deep emotional connection to vintage-based visuals, textures, and graphics. that creates a connection with what "was" and what "is."

my involvement.

my involvement ranges based on the project, this includes:

- developing visual direction and rollout

- directing visuals. from color grades, to textures, to directing camera crew

- shaping rollout concepts and creative strategy

- artist development and positioning

- connecting collaborators and building teams

- refining ideas from early concept to final execution
